iNeedStuff is designed to help you solve these types of annoyances.  A location aware shopping assistant, iNeedStuff will learn where and how you shop.  It will then organize your lists in a way that will get you in, out and done with your shopping.  Experience why MacLife called iNeedStuff “the ultimate iPhone grocery list maker” (iPhone handbook, fall 2008 p. 10).

iNeedStuff is all about speed.  Quickly make lists with the + and - buttons.  You can also increase and decrease quantities quickly with the + and - buttons.  If there are no needed items you can hit the - button to delete an item from the master list.


If you need a little more control you can use the units and notes feature as demonstrated in the video below

Shop quickly by touching the items on the screen as you purchase them.  iNeedStuff will remember where you purchased them and will display them under the store name next time you visit and need that item.  iNeedStuff will also track the order in which you purchase items and organize them for the way that you shop.

For iPod Touch users outside of WiFi coverage, manually selecting a location and adding locations is an option.  This may also be useful for iPhone 1 users who shop at stores very close to each other (less than half a mile).

A powerful filter allows you to find items you need to add to the list within our extensive default item set.  It also allows you to add items to the item set you don’t find in our default set.

Recipe support allows you to add items to your list by what you want to make.  That way you don’t end up missing a critical ingredient to a dinner you were planning.


You can also use this feature to keep a “common” or “favorites” list.

Synchronize your list with any number of iPhone or iPod Touch devices.  Also enter your list on the web and synchronize it to your iPhone.  All this happens over the air so you don’t need to be near your computer, just touch Synchronize and let the iPhone do all the work.  Never again will you leave a store just to have to turn around because you missed that one item someone realized was out 2 minutes after you left.  Just synchronize as you walk into the store to grab any last minute changes to the list!!  You can even synchronize just before you checkout to make
